Alejandro Roca Rivera, known to most as Alex, is the Managing Director of Journeys, where he oversees the global delivery of all events — ensuring every element is executed with purpose, precision, and the signature warmth of the Fam-Meet® way.

Alex began his career as a student intern at Connections under Jacobs Media Group, where over seven and a half years, he rose through roles in operations, marketing, and logistics before ultimately leading the buyer team. With a deep understanding of what makes relationships flourish in the luxury travel space, he became a key player in shaping meaningful business environments across the globe.

In 2022, he joined Journeys as Events Director, quickly becoming instrumental in the brand’s growth and evolution. His promotion to Managing Director reflects his unwavering commitment, clear leadership, and ability to turn vision into reality.

At Journeys, Alex leads with calm focus and a people-first approach — ensuring that every delegate, supplier, and destination feels valued and fully immersed in the experience. He works across teams, partners, and continents to create events that are not only memorable, but measurable in their impact.

Outside of work, Alex finds energy in movement and clarity in nature. He recently completed a full marathon in Spain — a testament to his discipline, drive, and commitment to pushing boundaries. You’ll also find him recharging by the sea, exploring new cities, or enjoying great food and good conversation with friends — always balancing structure with soul.
