Micaela Giacobbe is the Founder and CEO of Journeys, a global events platform that reimagines how luxury travel professionals connect — by replacing traditional meeting formats with shared, meaningful experiences that leave a lasting impression.
After completing her MBA at Oxford, Micaela spent 14 years as Head of Marketing and Communications at Reed Exhibitions before launching Connections under Jacobs Media Group, where she led more than 50 international events across the luxury travel industry.
In 2022, she founded Journeys — her own venture, built around the Fam-Meet® formula, a networking concept she created to foster deep trust through curated experiences. Whether it’s sailing along the Thames, riding horseback through Texas, or dining under Italian frescos, every moment is intentionally designed to turn business relationships into something far more lasting.
