Houston, Texas, known for its rich cultural offerings and vibrant energy, recently hosted us for an enriching site visit through some of the city's most iconic attractions as we build a stunning programme for Journeys in North America 2024.
From the adrenaline-pumping Minute Maid Park to the mesmerizing encounters at the Downtown Aquarium and Houston Zoo, topped with a gourmet experience at Th Prsrv @ Eculent and a cosmic finale at the Space Centre Houston, the day was a perfect blend of luxury, entertainment, and culinary delights.
The day kicked off with a visit to Minute Maid Park, home to the Houston Astros. As we explored the state-of-the-art stadium, we were treated to an exclusive glimpse of Jeremy Peña's training session. The electrifying atmosphere and behind-the-scenes access added a touch of excitement, setting the tone for the day's adventures.
Following the sports extravaganza, attendees were transported to the Downtown Aquarium, a captivating underwater world nestled in the heart of the city. From vibrant marine life exhibits to thrilling rides, the aquarium offered a unique blend of entertainment and education. We marvelled at the stunning displays of aquatic creatures, making it a truly immersive experience.
The journey continued with a visit to the renowned Houston Zoo, where we were treated to a rare and unforgettable encounter – feeding lunch to majestic tigers. This hands-on experience allowed us to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures, creating lasting memories of our time in Houston.
After a morning filled with excitement, we all indulged in a luxurious lunch at Th Prsrv @ Eculent. This upscale dining establishment, known for its exquisite culinary offerings, provided a perfect setting for networking and relaxation. The carefully curated menu showcased the best of Houston's gastronomic delights, adding a touch of sophistication.
As the day unfolded, we concluded our Houston adventure at the Space Centre. The epicentre of space exploration offered an immersive journey through the history of space travel. From interactive exhibits to awe-inspiring artefacts, we were transported to the outer reaches of the cosmos, ending the day on a cosmic high note.
