An Evening with Lucia Magnani: Vision, Longevity and a Table to Remember

There are moments in our industry that remind me exactly why I do what I do.
Not because they are grand. Not because they are loud. But because they are meaningful.
Recently, I had the rare privilege of spending an evening in the company of the one and only Lucia Magnani - at her extraordinary health clinic hotel in Emilia-Romagna. An intimate private dining room prepared just for us. A table set with care. A quiet sense of anticipation in the air.

Lucia’s property is not simply a hotel. It is a pioneering longevity clinic grounded in science, prevention and measurable results. A place where medical research, nutrition and hospitality come together with rigour and intention. Every detail reflects her belief that living longer must also mean living better.
And then, as if the evening needed another layer of distinction, Cracco himself curated and presented a gourmet long-life menu for us.
This was not indulgence disguised as wellness. It was precision. Each course was thoughtfully composed to nourish and restore while delivering depth of flavour and elegance. A seamless marriage between gastronomy and longevity - proof that discipline and pleasure can sit at the same table.
Yet what made the evening truly exceptional was not only what was served, but what was shared.
Across that table, I had the privilege of hearing directly from Lucia about her journey - how she built her career, how she challenged conventional models of hospitality and health, and how she ultimately became the pioneer of her own unique longevity formula.
Lucia Magnani is not someone who follows established paths. She questions them. She studies. She refines. She builds systems grounded in research and measurable outcomes. Her approach to preventive medicine and regenerative wellbeing has redefined what a health destination can be.
Listening to her speak about the resistance she faced, the conviction she held, and the clarity of vision that guided her was profoundly inspiring. Innovation is rarely comfortable. Leadership rarely easy. Yet Lucia embodies both with calm determination.

As someone who has always believed in creating formats that move beyond the conventional - whether through Fam-Meet® or the way we design Journeys - I felt a deep resonance with her philosophy. True impact comes from courage. From doing the work long before recognition arrives.
The evening was more than a dinner. It was a conversation about legacy, discipline, purpose and the responsibility of shaping the future of our industries.
To sit with a visionary who has transformed longevity into a scientific, elegant and commercially viable model was an honour.
And it makes me even more excited for what lies ahead.
We cannot wait to welcome the world to Journeys Italy 2026 in Emilia-Romagna - a region of extraordinary minds, bold ideas and timeless excellence. If this evening was a glimpse of what the region represents, we are in for something truly special.
Ciao for now
