Meet Miiro: Bringing a New Kind of Luxury to London
Some partnerships make sense from the very beginning.
Miiro and Journeys share a belief that great hospitality is about much more than a beautiful place to stay. It is about creating an environment in which people feel comfortable, experiences feel authentic and connections happen naturally.

It is why our relationship with Miiro and its London hotel, Templeton Garden, has quickly developed into a partnership spanning three Journeys experiences.
We first partnered with Templeton Garden for our End of Summer event in London, when we had the opportunity to introduce the hotel to our community and experience its hospitality first-hand. The setting was beautiful, the atmosphere wonderfully relaxed and the food was superb.
This December, Miiro and Templeton Garden will join us in Cannes as sponsors of Journeys On the Beach, our invitation-only lunch bringing together members of our international luxury travel community away from the intensity of the exhibition floor.
And next March, the relationship goes a step further when Templeton Garden becomes the host hotel for the international buyers attending Journeys United Kingdom 2027.
Rather than simply visiting the property, our buyers will live it — making Templeton Garden their London home throughout Journeys UK and experiencing its rooms, service, food, atmosphere and hospitality for themselves.
For Journeys, that is partnership at its best: not simply putting a logo alongside an event, but creating opportunities for the right travel professionals to genuinely experience a product.
And Templeton Garden is a hotel we are particularly excited for them to discover.

A different kind of London hotel
London has no shortage of luxury hotels. What makes Templeton Garden interesting is that it doesn't try to compete through grandeur or formality.
Instead, it offers something altogether more relaxed.
Set in Earl's Court, the 156-room hotel is Miiro's first London property and takes its inspiration from the neighbourhood around it. At its heart is an unexpected luxury for central London: a secluded private garden.
That garden isn't simply something to look at. It shapes the personality of the hotel.
There is greenery, natural light and a feeling of space that seems slightly at odds with being in the middle of one of the world's busiest cities.
And perhaps that is part of its appeal.

A hotel that belongs to its neighbourhood
Miiro's philosophy is centred around encouraging guests to experience the places they visit rather than remaining cocooned inside their hotel.
Templeton Garden reflects that thinking.
Earl's Court is residential, cosmopolitan and exceptionally well connected, with some of London's most important museums, galleries, shopping and neighbourhoods within easy reach.
But the sense of place continues inside the hotel too.
The interiors combine contemporary design with English influences, while the garden gives the property a distinctive identity of its own.
It feels like London, rather than simply being a hotel located in London.

And then there is the food...
We can speak about this part from experience.
Pippin's, Templeton Garden's restaurant, looks onto the garden and places British ingredients at the centre of its menus, with herbs and produce from the garden incorporated where possible.
Having hosted our own Journeys event at Templeton Garden, we have already experienced the hotel's food and hospitality — and the food was superb.
For us, that is an important part of understanding a hotel.
Our industry can spend a lot of time talking about rooms, facilities and specifications. But what a guest remembers is often something much simpler: how they were welcomed, what they ate, where they sat and how the place made them feel.
Templeton Garden understands those details.
Its intimate cocktail bar, Sprout, takes inspiration from the garden too, while spaces including the Library create places to retreat, meet or simply spend time.
There is also Miiro's signature Refresh Room — a thoughtful concept allowing guests arriving before check-in or departing after check-out somewhere to shower, change and refresh.
Small details, perhaps. But thoughtful hospitality is often found in the small details.

The Miiro way
Templeton Garden is part of a wider Miiro story.
The brand is building a collection of individually designed hotels across Europe, with properties conceived around their neighbourhoods rather than following an identical formula from city to city.
It is a philosophy that feels particularly relevant to today's luxury traveller.
Increasingly, people don't simply want to visit a destination. They want to feel connected to it. They want recommendations beyond the obvious, places with personality and hotels that help them experience a city rather than isolate them from it.
That is also why Miiro feels so aligned with Journeys.
Fam-Meet® is based on a similar belief: that experiencing a place together changes the way people connect.
From London to Cannes — and back again
Over the coming months, our community will experience Miiro and Templeton Garden in several very different ways.
We have already shared an End of Summer evening together in London.
In December, we will take that partnership to the French Riviera for Journeys On the Beach in Cannes.
And in March, our international buyers will return to London and experience Templeton Garden as their home during Journeys United Kingdom.
Three very different moments, but one shared philosophy.
Good hospitality brings people together.
Shared experiences create memories.
Memories build trust.
And trust creates the foundation for long-term business.
We are delighted to have Miiro and Templeton Garden as part of the Journeys story.
Build trust. Do business.
