Taking Our Conversations to Imola

When Luca Sandri took me behind the scenes at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari earlier this year, I left with plenty of photographs, a much greater appreciation of the circuit—and a very clear wish to bring our Journeys community here.

In November, we will do exactly that.

Together with Modenatur and IF–Imola Faenza, we are creating a day at Imola that gives our international buyers and Italian suppliers time to meet, discover the venue and enjoy its extraordinary setting.

Our one-to-one Fam-Meetings will be part of the day. So will lunch, a closer look at the circuit and a few moments I would rather let our guests discover when they arrive.

There is a particular excitement to introducing people to somewhere you have experienced personally. You remember what caught your attention, but you also know they will notice things you missed. I am looking forward to hearing the questions, the reactions and the conversations that follow.

For some, the name Imola will immediately bring back a race, a driver or a memory. Others will arrive with more curiosity than motorsport knowledge. Both perspectives will have a place in our group.

For travel advisors, the visit is an opportunity to explore how Motor Valley might fit into a client’s Italian journey—and to meet the local partners who can help make that happen.

This is where Luca and the teams at Modenatur and IF–Imola Faenza bring so much to the programme. Their knowledge and relationships give the experience its depth, helping us understand the place through the people who work with it.

We have already introduced you to Imola’s story. Now we are looking forward to giving our community a story of their own to take home.
